Boarding/Lodging and Grooming

Your pet deserves the best, so let your dog, cat, bird, or exotic family member stay with us while you are away! The Animal Medical & Surgical Center of Canton, GA features a large, spacious pet lodging facility where your pet can stay and play. Our highly-trained animal care attendants provide plenty of tender loving care to all pet guests, and every canine pet staying at our facility receives frequent walks and playtime in our state of the art grass play-yard. All pets remains safe and comfortable in a stress-free, temperature-controlled environment.

If special medical care is necessary (diabetes, medications, etc.), you can rest easy when your pet stays with us. All special-needs guests are monitored closely by our specially-trained staff and veterinarians. We keep a record of your pet’s stay and all medications are charted and monitored closely, especially important for guests with diabetes and other chronic conditions.

Boarding/Lodging for Dogs

For our canine visitors, the Animal Medical & Surgical Center of Canton, Georgia maintains a large fenced-in grass area where dogs can exercise, play and have fun.

We feed our canine guests organic, American-made premium food. However, if your pet has special dietary needs or requires a different food, feel free to provide us with a container of your pet’s food.

There is no need to have the additional concern of packing a bag for your pet. As a courtesy, we provide fresh linens and ask that you keep collars and leashes with you.

Lodging hours are the same as regular hospital hours. Because availability is limited, particularly around holidays, we recommend that you make a reservation for your pet in advance. Please call us at 770-479-0111 to make a reservation.

We require all lodging guests be up to date on their vaccinations.

Boarding/Lodging for Cats

Each feline lodging guest is provided with a luxurious “kitty condo,” complete with a large picture window overlooking a garden full of birds and butterflies. Our lodging area for feline guests is a nice, quiet area. Soft music plays while your feline companion relaxes on a soft bed in the warm sunlight.

There is no need to have the additional concern of packing a bag for your pet. As a courtesy, we provide fresh bedding and ask that you keep collars and carriers with you.

Pet Grooming and Bathing

Your pet will look and feel terrific after a day at the Animal Medical & Surgical Center’s pet spa! Our Master Groomers have many years of experience working with dogs and cats of all breeds. Grooming sessions include a luxurious bath, nail trim and ear cleaning. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and pet odor, leaving your pet feeling fresh and revitalized. Doggy Daycare

Do you know what your dog is doing when you’re away at work? Leaving your dog home alone can result in feelings of anxiety and loneliness, leading to torn furniture, inappropriate elimination and other unwanted behaviors. Doggy daycare is a great way for your canine companion to get extra attention throughout the day.

The Animal Medical and Surgical Center’s large outdoor grass fenced-in play area is the perfect place for dogs to exercise and play. Our caring staff members provide all daycare guests with lots of attention, walks and playtime. We offer daycare options by the day, week, or even just for a few hours.
